Brief - As part of a larger digital transformation program of work, a project was kicked off to create an entirely new version of the mobile app, a completely re-imagining of how customers might interact with AGL, taking advantage of native hardware and setting a new benchmark for the industry.
Working as part of a mobile app design and development team, my role was to lead the Visual Design and Art Direction across both native platforms for iOS and Android users. Build an accessibility first approach library of re-usable components while working close with senior UX and interaction designers, senior researcher, copywriter and developers with the goal of creating a totally different and innovative experience, changing the way customers interact, understand and control their energy consumption.
Since launch, the AGL App has seen a massive growth in digital adoption, averaging 462,000 active users per month – and their App Store average rating has increased from 2.1 to 4.7 and continues to grow with the release of every new, innovative feature.
